Chevrolet Silverado Trim Levels Explained

The engine available in this model is a 4.3 l V6 paired with an automatic gearbox with 6 speeds.

Chevrolet Silverado LS

On the outside, the Silverado LS adds chrome details such as grille surrounded bumpers and stainless steel wheels.

The LS also improves comfort and connectivity with MyLink interface on a 7” touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard. Along the same line, you get remote keyless entry, Wi-Fi hotspot and Bluetooth connectivity for your phone and audio devices.

Chevrolet Silverado LT

The LT comes with all that the LS has, but adds EZ lift and lower tailgate that helps with opening and closing. On the inside, the LT introduces leather seats, cruise control and more controls on the steering wheel, as well as an 8” touchscreen. The exterior gets body coloured side moldings, door handles and mirror caps.

Chevrolet Silverado LT Z71

The LT Z71 trim level improves both the looks and practicality of your vehicle. It comes with practical improvements such as hill descent control, protection for the transfer case, trailering package, locking rear differential and off-road suspension pack as well as styling perks such as 18” wheels, headlamp and grille surrounds of the same colour as the body, chrome details on the lower bumper and black recovery hooks.

Chevrolet Silverado LTZ

The most notable improvement that comes with LTZ trim level is a respectable 5.3 l V8. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic and the combo makes the already capable truck a real monster that effortlessly conquers asphalt and off-road surfaces. Speaking of asphalt, 18” machined aluminum wheels make it more stable during sharper turns. In terms of off-road perks and heavy duty practicality, the LTZ introduces locking rear differential, trailer hitch and tow hooks for the front.

Heated, leather, 10-way adjustable seats are also a step up both in terms of comfort and interior elegance. The LTZ also adds LED tail lamps and projector headlamps, dual zone climate control, rearview camera and a remote starter.

Chevrolet Silverado LTZ Z71

The additions that come with the Z71 version of the LTZ include the already mentioned Z71 appearance pack, off-road suspension, hill descent control, transfer case protection and trailoring package.

Chevrolet Silverado High Country

This is the flagship trim level and it is focused on luxury and comfort with additions such as Bose sound system, leather and heated steering wheel, park assist, satellite navigation and a wireless device charger. The interior also comes with plush perforated leather seats that are both heated and ventilated, and with 12 different ways you can adjust their position you are sure to be comfy. The High Country can be distinguished from the rest of the pack from the outside as well, with features such as 20” wheels, cargo tie-downs, chrome side steps, polished exhaust tips and bumpers whose colour matches the body panels.
